All year long, Allure editors answer age-old makeup questions for our readers, including "What's your favorite mascara?" and "What's the best foundation for mature skin?" and "Which red lipstick should become my new signature shade?" Sometimes we share the products we love and believe you should use in our reviews; other times it's robust roundups with recommendations from pros. Once a year, we even put all of our most beloved products in one place and call it the Best of Beauty Awards. (You might have heard of it.)

But for the 2020 Readers' Choice Awards, we put you, Allure readers, in charge. You're the authority this time around. We look to you to share the mascara you swipe on every day, the foundation you always keep in your makeup bag, and the eye shadow palette you can't get enough of.

Now it's time for us to share the results of the Readers' Choice Awards, and let me just say, you made some fine choices. Many of the makeup picks on the list below are staples in our beauty routines too. The Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara is a go-to in our kits, and the Tarte Shape Tape Contour Concealer is basically one of the only products we'll dab onto our undereyes. And don't get us started on the Fenty Beauty by Rihanna Floss Gloss Universal Lip Luminizer.

Enough about us, though. Keep scrolling to read more about all the makeup that Allure readers are absolutely loving this year.

Primer: Milk Makeup Hydro Grip Primer

Packing aloe water and hyaluronic acid, one thin layer of the Milk Makeup Hydro Grip Primer plumps skin and blurs pores. The result is so fresh and gleam-y, we're tempted to forgo foundation. But go ahead and blend some onto your skin; you'll notice how foundation latches on for the long haul.

Concealer: Tarte Shape Tape Contour Concealer

Laced with licorice root extract (a natural anti-inflammatory), the Tarte Shape Tape Contour Concealer brightens dark circles and quells redness for a clean, sculpted look. Use this hydrating liquid two shades darker than your skin tone, painting it along the places you typically contour for skin-quenching sculpting.
