Oat-kernel flour (soothes); glycerin (moisturizes)
HOW IT LOOKS/FEELS/SMELLS:
The clear, creamy cleanser lathers just a little. Its coconut fragrance is soft and gentle—it was created with sensitive skin in mind.
WHY WE LIKE IT:
Most skin care that smells like coconut—or rose or anything for that matter—contains fragrance that often irritates sensitive skin. “But Aveeno found fragrances that don’t cause a reaction, and they have data to back up the claim,” says Ellen Marmur, a dermatologist in New York City. “If you have sensitive skin, this is a big deal.” Even if you don’t have sensitive skin, there are plenty of reasons to use this body wash. It’s infused with oatmeal to relieve itchiness and with the powerhouse moisturizer glycerin to soften skin. In fact, it hydrates so well that after using it, we skipped moisturizing our legs—which felt smooth, not stripped. The stuff gets bonus points for doubling as a shaving cream when ours ran out.
