What It Is:

An oil-free clarifying mask

What It Does:

Deep-cleans and soaks up excess oil

KEY INGREDIENTS:

Charcoal (deep-cleans); zeolite (heats skin)

HOW IT LOOKS/FEELS/SMELLS:

When massaged onto damp skin, the gray, lightly gritty paste starts to feel warm, and it has a lively mint scent. One box includes four single-serving packets of the paste.

WHY WE LIKE IT:

Masks can seem laborious, but this one rinses easily and makes skin smoother and more luminous in a minute flat. Plus: It's science-y! In addition to feeling relaxing, the warming aspect (a chemical reaction between water and the zeolite) nudges pores open so the mask can really degunk them. But while the single-serve packets ensure you use just the right amount, they can also make application a tad messy.
