HOW IT FEELS/SMELLS/LOOKS:
The soft-tip applicator brushes on the liquid, temporary dye smoothly, evenly, and precisely. It has a marker-like scent (but only if you hold it right up to your nose).
WHY WE LIKE IT:
Available in a variety of shades, this ammonia-free, temporary dye is easy to paint on and looks amazingly natural—it actually bonds to hair, so you can brush it afterward and there's no risk of flaking. Still, make sure to style before you tint: You can mist hair spray over it, but creamier products like mousse or gel may smudge the color.
