NOTES:
Green mango, lotus, hyacinth, grapefruit, bulrush (a grasslike water plant), calamus (a subtly spicy note), sycamore wood, and incense
WHY WE LIKE IT:
So this fragrance is supposed to evoke a garden along the Nile in Egypt. And though we've never actually been anywhere near the Nile, we can say with 100 percent certainty that this does smell like a garden along some body of fresh water. This scent is lush with greens and has an appealing, gentle sweetness thanks to the green mango note. There's also another kind of freshness to it that suggests cool, running water. But this isn't just some ordinary grassy perfume. It's much more interesting and complex because of the hints of exotic incense and woody notes.
