NatureLab Tokyo Clarifying Scalp Scrub Gave Me Clean Hair for 10 Days
TL;DR:
  • What It Is: A scalp scrub made with sugar crystals
  • What It Does: Cleanses scalp of product build-up
  • Who It's For: Anyone and everyone who wants a clean head of hair

I have a confession to make: I hate washing my hair. When the pandemic first arrived to the U.S. in March, I thought to myself, “OK now that I'm going to be home more (eh… always), I'm going to get really good about washing my hair and treating my scalp.” I was wrong. I actually got a lot worse. So when I do wash my hair once every ten days, I want it to stay clean for a long time. Enter the NatureLab Tokyo Perfect Shine Clarifying Scalp Scrub.

I was never too big on scalp scrubs because I always feared the exfoliants would get stuck in my extra-long waves, but this one truly changed my perspective on the treatment. This NatureLab Tokyo product is skin care for your hair. It's made with exfoliating sugar crystals that clear product build-up, probiotic sake water to balance your skin's pH levels, and hyaluronic acid for shine and hydration.

Once you scoop out a quarter-sized amount, it foams up like a dream and covers your entire scalp, not missing one section. When it comes time to rinse, those sugar crystals just dissolve once water hits them, meaning there's no sticky mess as your dry and style.

Once I towel dry my hair, it feels soft, healthy, and clean. Seriously, I can go two weeks without washing my hair after using this stuff (not that I necessarily recommend it) — it's that good.

You'll find the NatureLab Tokyo Perfect Shine Clarifying Scalp Scrub in our November 2020 Allure Beauty Box.
