          Pureology Hydrate Air Dry Cream

Ah, the ever-elusive air-dry. Has there ever been a word that carries so much hope — and so much frustration? Think about it: In theory, we should all be able to step out of the shower, blot the moisture out of our hair, and have it dry to its best natural texture. At least that’s what we hope for. In practice? Not so much. I have long, thick waves that — in an ideal world — should air-dry nicely. Like they do after a day at the beach. But when my hair is freshly washed, they don’t get clumpy and ropy and surfer-y. Instead, they pouf into a giant triangle. A mushroom cloud on top of my head. Enter this cream, an ideal balance of coconut oil and silicones. A nickel-size blob through the midlength and ends gives just the right amount of hold and texture to define my waves — especially if I scrunch them as they air-dry.

Pureology Hydrate Air Dry Cream, $28.

Beauty for Real I-Line 24-7 Eyeliner in Whiskey

The moment you add even the tiniest bit of bronze makeup, you are instantly sexier, sultrier, and more exotic. And if that flash of bronze is along your lash line, forget it. You’re basically Adriana Lima. So how exactly should you wear this metallic brown liner? Draw a thin line along the upper lashes and flick it up at the outer corner. Or consider smudging it along the lower lash line and then piling on mascara. But honestly, the sky is the limit because this gel pencil gives you options. Unlike hard, waxy pencils, which require precision, or liquid liner, which dries mercilessly fast, this formula can be easily tweaked. So the next time someone calls brown liner boring, tell them to upgrade to bronze. Then give ’em your best Brazilian-supermodel wink.

Beauty for Real I-Line 24-7 Eyeliner in Whiskey, $14.

          Korres Wild Rose Sleeping Facial

Sleep masks are our latest obsession, and not just because we are huge fans of sleep. You slather on a rich, coddling cream before bed and you wake up with plump, dewy skin. Who wouldn’t love that? Well, this formula takes the obsession one step further. Because in addition to hydrating heavy hitters — rose oil and hyaluronic acid — it also contains vitamin C to brighten skin. It sinks right into parched skin, and no matter how many times you slam on the snooze button, it pretty much guarantees you’ll wake up glowing.

Korres Wild Rose Sleeping Facial, $48.

Kat Von D Sinner and Saint

Broody. Moody. Sexy as hell. All traits we are attracted to, all traits we must approach with caution — except when it comes to a fragrance. Sinner, a blend of patchouli, cinnamon, and vetiver, is ideal for someone with a little edge — or at least a goody-goody who likes to shake things up every once in a while. On the other side of the personality spectrum is Saint, a love letter to all things sweet and girlie, with notes of jasmine, tiaré flower, and caramel.*

Kat Von D Sinner and Saint, $$65 each for 50 milliliters.

*Your box will come with one of these two fragrances.

Pantene Pro-V Sheer Volume Foam Conditioner

One of our editors used this conditioner and had this to say: "My once-dry ends looked healthy and fantastic." And there's a real science behind that. In addition to isobutane and propane (gases that turn liquid conditioning ingredients into foam), its formula also contains polyvinylpyrrolidone, which smooths hair and helps define curls and waves. In other words, it will give your hair a level of volume and bounce that you simply will not get with cream conditioners.

Pantene Pro-V Sheer Volume Foam Conditioner, $5.99.
