Kendall Jenner's New Dark Brown Nail Look Is the Perfect Moody Manicure for Winter

When it comes to her nails, Kendall Jenner typically favors fuss-free looks in neutral tones, like light pink, beige, and white. This weekend, however, the supermodel debuted a dark brown manicure that's definitely one of the more dramatic shades we've seen her wear — and well, it just so happens to be a great look for wintertime when people are wearing deeper neutrals instead of summery brights.

The 25-year-old model debuted the manicure via her Instagram Story on Saturday evening while unboxing some gifts she received in the mail — one of them being Jen Atkin's new book, Blowing My Way To The Top. While you can't see her full set, Jenner's thumb is visible in the shot, and the nail is painted a gorgeous deep cocoa color with a high-shine finish.

Shape-wise, Jenner went for a classic square style with slightly rounded edges, which gives the look an even more chic and sophisticated feel. And, as per usual, she opted for a medium-to-short length, as she's not typically one to go for ultra-long tips like her sisters — namely Kylie and Khloé.

To recreate this manicure at home, all you need are a solid topcoat and a dark brown polish — preferably one with a glossy finish. If you don't already have one in your arsenal, might we suggest OPI's Shh...It's Top Secret! or Essie's Take the Espresso? Both are beautiful rich brown shades that will help you achieve a very similar look.

All this to say: Thanks for the winter nail inspiration, Kenny. We'll be picking up some deep brown nail polish to try this look, ASAP.
