Earlier this year, Kim Kardashian professed her love for Dr. Pimple Popper — aka famed dermatologist and television personality, Sandra Lee. So, naturally, when Lee sent the KKW Beauty founder her brand's new Super Cortisone+ Cream to try, she was over-the-moon about it. So much so, in fact, that she immediately took to Instagram to share the skin-care mailer with her fans.

Monday, September 21 kicks off our week-long 2020 Best of Beauty virtual event series! To join us, RSVP here before it’s too late to enjoy tutorials and panels featuring some of the best experts in the industry, such as Justine Marjan, Priscilla Ono, and more.

The SKIMS creator showed off the skin-care gift on her Instagram Story on Friday evening, along with the caption: "omg @drpimplepopper sent me this cortisone cream and I am fan girling!!!!" For those who don't know, Lee's Super Cortisone+ Cream launched on September 9 and is designed to help relieve skin-care afflictions such as itching, flaking, and redness, thanks to its potent anti-inflmmatory properties.

In an exclusive interview about the product, Lee told Allure that she recommends cortisone for "most rashes, eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis, sunburns, skin allergies, itching, and even insect bites, poison oak, or poison ivy."

Considering Kardashian is very open about having psoriasis — one of the main conditions Lee recommends cortisone for — it makes perfect sense why she sent the reality star her new product to try. In addition to one percent cortisone, its formula also contains niacinamide, aloe vera, and vitamin E for their added soothing and nourishing properties.

As for whether it'll help the celebrity's psoriasis, well, we'll just have to wait and see. Regardless, it was super thoughtful of Lee to share her new launch with Kardashain since she struggles with psoriasis.
